Hotel Esplanade Zagreb is a staple of the city and hardly necessary to introduce. Built in 1925 for the wary travellers of the legendary Orient Express, the hotel has soon established as the main trend setter and lifted the bar for the high-end service. Hotel has 208 spacious rooms and luxury suites, and for the beginning of their digital communication was set by implementing hotel IPTV solution and hotel mobile app solution. These combined products offer everything a guest can want during their stay: interactive services such as food ordering, SPA booking, information, and communication. The goal became clear very soon into the setup of this digital project: create a digital solution which will be the right technological support and upgrade of the traditionally high-end guest service.

Hoteza team’s global know-how and experience made through the different projects around Europe, alongside clear goals set by the hotel management were the key when it came to selecting the services to be included in final digital solutions, the speed of the implementation and the final success of the project overall. The interesting history the hotel has was visible through the design and the feel of all the selected solution, so the traditional colours related to Esplanade Hotel are visible on IPTV devices, as well as mobile application solution. Rich selection of services – from booking restaurant tables, ordering in-room dining or booking treatments at the SPA centre – was easily added into this new channel of seamless guest communication.
